We are looking for a talented and experienced Software QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of our software products. This includes designing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and working with developers to fix defects. You will also be responsible for automating test cases and developing test tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute manual and automated test cases
  • Identify and report bugs
  • Work with developers to fix defects
  • Automate test cases
  • Develop test tools
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software QA
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and practices
  • Experience with manual and automated testing
  • Experience with defect tracking tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Technologies to be Utilized:

  • Linux Operating System
  • Docker Containerization
  • System Security Applications and System Hardening (e.g. OSCAP, SELinux, PAM, etc)
  • System Build tools (BitBake, Jenkins, OSCAP, etc)
  • Atlassian Suite for reporting (Confluence, JIRA)
